I posted this chick when I first got it from Tractor Supply. I thought it was a sebright, but then as the feathers started to come in buff I thought it might be a bantam game bird. As it gets older it looks more and more like a sebright.

Is there such a thing as a buff sebright? I've only seen the silver and gold ones before.

It doesn't look like a Seabright to me. A picture with it standing itself and of the comb would help identify the breed.

It looks more like a game bantam with those longer legs but that pea comb... hmm
What hatchery does this Tractor Supply get their chicks from?
Mt Healthy, I looked on their website and they just list that they sell a bantam assortment, but not what breeds of bantams comes in the assortment.

Call the hatchery directly and ask what bantam breeds do they have that have pea combs and are buff.
I have never heard of Buff Sebrights but I have heard of Buff Laced.

we had around Buff 10 Sebrights only a few months old ... than a Raccoon pulled their leg threw a small screen one night by their toes and pulled their legs off, We had to double the screen floors and sides so they couldn't reach them. We only have 3 left. They aren't old enough to tell male or female yet. But ours look like that one. They are beautiful, by the ones we have left. They are Buff Laced Sebright Bantam we got from secuservices.com ...

Old post I know but was it a Buff Sebright?

Looks just like my Buff Sebright (from a breeder)
