okay, i have heard of them, and i LOVE the colors, but how do you make them?

its ok to ask, that´s one of many ways to learn.

there are many types of buff phenotypes(the way a bird looks) and they are achieved with different genotypes(the genetic make up of the bird)

there are Black tail Buff birds
there are Columbian Buff birds(think buff columbian rocks)
and there is Self Buff birds which lack any black feathers on the wings/tails and hackle/saddle, they are entirely buff colored.

breeding buff birds is very difficult, they can´t be too light or too dark, and that is if you already have buff birds, now if you don´t have them and want to breed for them its going to be even more difficult, but not impossible, just try to search for them, it will save you years of breeding

i know ideal has a line of buffs of this breed, but i want to have little inbreeding, and *hopefully* next year i will be able to get chicks

not in the females, just the males will be "Golden"
