splash to partedge well make blue, brassy blue, blue partrdge

Is blue/partridge alright? I really want to focus on the blue/splash pen and then get buff and porcelain. But I don't want to get rid of my two partridge ( one is a showgirl). Howeve,r my husband isn't fond of building coops and runs and said I can only have one more for now.

have him build u one coop with 2 runns that way u have more one color

If your going to sell birds/eggs in the future it's best to keep the colors pure. Mate blue and splash together and find a partridge male for the girls.

Ok, thank you ! So,,,blue and splash...partridge to partridge....and then porcelain and buff can be together (right?)

Lav & Buff can go together. I believe you mate lav and buff, then those offspring back to lav to get porcelain?? Not sure on porcelain and buff.

That's what I do. I have 1 coop that was an old dog house. We divided it in half with wire and made two runs, so I can keep two sets of breeders in there. I also have 2 more pens that are divided up 3 ways, that way I can keep colors seperate when breeding.

i dont have out door run and for the breeding season there would be nothing wrong with penning up ur breeders in to breeding pen that where smaller then ur big runs
