Bug Zapper / chicken feeder

Bought a bug zapper for all the flies. Zaps them and falls to the chickens! Chickens seem to love it! Anybody have any reasons its not a good idea?
 
Others have done this as well. The only problem I can think of is the dead bugs can attract snakes, at least around here. I would probably turn it off after they went to roost.
