Bugatti Veyron

Mouthful of a name. Handful of a car. The old one only had 1000 horsepower. Pfff. The new one does 0-100 in 4.5 seconds? I have such a hard time believing that, at the point where I am exiting second gear, at 60MPH, he's almost at 100. I do 0-100 in 9.47 seconds, in a very modest, street/drag car!

BF wants one. Like really, really wants one. His car now (according to a official trials) can get from 0-100 in 17-18 sec. Of course when you're driving, or being a passenger, who's really paying attention to how long it takes?
The problem with having any sports car here is that we get anywhere from 4-6 months of snow.

If the roads are clear and it's been nice for a day or so, then it's fine to drive around, but when it starts to pile up on the roads it can get kinda hard for a car that sits a couple inches off the ground to move right.

There are very few straight stretches of road you can use to reach the top speed around here too (unless of course you cross the Mackinac Bridge with no other traffic), and if you aren't going to get to 250 at least once in the car, then why bother buying it?
That and it's gonna cost several million dollars to buy, insure, and maintain it...

Other than that it's an awesome car.

More cars should be made my aerospace engineers.

I thought the original Veyron was a much better looking car without the orange contrast. But I love Top Gear! Like Chuck Yeager . . .
