Bugs for chickens...?

Altho I haven't even gotten my first chicken yet, but had intended to free-range them whenever possible, I got to wondering....are there any bugs that chickens won't eat? Or shouldn't eat? I'm thinking things like fire ants, black widow spiders, etc. (not that I'd know how to stop them from eating whatever they found anyway...)

I asked that before because one of my chicks likes box elder bugs and japanese beetles.
I dont THINK they eat fire ants and I dont know about black widows?

They'll eat things they like, and leave things they don't. No idea what mine do or don't eat when ranging as far as they want. I think the biggest problem of birds eating "poisionous things" is when given them in a confined space and they are so bored or hungry they go ahead and eat them.
