So about a week ago I was cleaning out the coop and saw some little bugs under the pine shavings by the door. I checked a couple of my chickens and didn’t see anything on them, but knew I better clean out the whole coop anyway.
Cleaned out all of the bedding from the coop and nesting boxes. Dusted with poultry/garden dust and put new bedding in.
I also wanted to dust all of my girls but could only get ahold of about half of them.
when cleaning the coop today I found them in the same spot again. Looked at a couple girls, no signs of bugs on them.
I tried to look them up to see if I need to use a different method to kill them, or just resist all of my girls good… but they don’t look like any of the pictures of lice or mites I can find.
Anyone know what these little buggers are?
