I am building a 20x16x8 or 9 ft high Aviary, I am going to have 3 maybe 4 Peafowl in there, Can I add a couple Pigeon's to the mix?

I am mixing pigeons with ring necked pheasants however the pheasants were mere peeps and regarded the pigeons as parental units when first introduced. They are still in the same enclosure as the pigeons to date with no incidents.

I have mixed pigeons with the Cornish or Meat King chickens as well but again it was from the time the chickens were peeps and that mix only lasted 8 weeks with no incident.

I would have second thoughts about mixing pigeons and adult chickens or pheasants and if I did I would expect the worst that the other birds would cannibalize the pigeons at the first opportunity.

I cannot comment on the nature of Peafowl as I have no experience with them what so ever.

Pigeons are very much ground foraging birds. I can relate with Coco, I've mixed them with chicks, just fine. Would I mix them with large chickens? no. I witness the chickens attacking the pigeons when they try to land, when both are free ranging.
If the pen is large and the pigeons have food and water and roosts up out of reach of the peafowl, then I would try it and see how it goes.
I don't personally have experience with peafowl.

I figured I would make a little perch and landing area up higher in a corner, have a feeder and water up there also for them.

I understand I can always remove them if it doesn't work out, i just figured in there they will have more room.
