HOw do you keep coons, skunks, weasels, badgers, or any of the other 100 million critters who like to eat chickens out at night? I did not see anything to keep the guys from digging into the pens?

The pens sit tight to the ground and weigh 400lbs or so. another way to keep em out is a light sleeper with a 12 ga and a spot light

I designed my tractor so I can slide a wire floor in for the nighttime but I never use it. I just haven't had the problems with predators here in the spring and summer. My laying flock is attacked all the time in the winter though and the best defense I've found for that is having a rooster on hand.
