Building a chicken plucker

Does anyone know if the extra expense is worth it for the Kent c-25 plucking fingers verses the Chinese fingers ? Do the Kent c-25 fingers do a better job and last longer ? I'm getting ready to order the plucking fingers for the machine I'm building and, I want to make sure get the right ones the first time. I've read on line that if the rubber is too soft or too hard, they either won't pluck all the feathers off or they tear the skin.

No idea, but I have bought them from strombergs before and not had a problem. I would go with a reputable chicken butchering supplier over other sellers.

Thank you for replying. I'm old school, and figure we pretty much get what we pay for. These Kent c-25 fingers are made by Calumet rubber company near Chicago and in the USA !

From what I found online, those sound like good plucker fingers. I was just saying dont go through Amazan or some random website.
