Wow .. again. The progress they made yesterday was amazing .. We were able to walk through the entire downstairs and see the rooms, closets, bathrooms, windows, etc all framed in. they were just starting on the beams for the second floor flooring when they left ..

100% chance of rain last nite (and it did) and until around noon today .. so I don't think they'll get much done today, but we should have about a week of nice weather after this ..

they are ROCKIN!!

I know .. I was shocked.. there are about 8 guys working and they are bustin' a hump ... so to speak.

We missed going out on Friday because DD17 was awarded at the High School football game for her PSAT score last year ..

I worried about the chicks, because it got colder than expected, but they were fine Saturday morning .. whew.

WE HAVE STAIRS .. AWESOME!

And decking on some of the second floor .. so we walked around up there..

Fun fun! The builder called us Friday and told us to make up our mind on house and trim color .. and for me to get my 4 x 4 fixed glass window ordered -- it's my window over my bathtub .. eeeek! gotta go pay for it today.. I'll let ya'll know what I decide on.

Texasgal, you will reach the point where you don't want to look at one more thing or make one more decision! Our electrician told me that I hadn't gotten a light fixture for the kitchen ceiling yet, and I wanted to hit him! Then I decided what to get, went to Sam's Club to get it, and got the last one they had. That was close. Another thing that surprised me was that some of the biggies (like kitchen cabinets) were easy to pick, and the little things, like a vanity for the half bath, turned out to be a major pain in the seat of the pants. Have fun!!
