building ideas for a portable outdoor pen for my disabled duck

I need some help with some thoughts and ideas for a portable, outdoor pen for my disabled duck. I would like him to be able to spend the days outside on the days I go to work. Of course I want him to be safe and secure. Ive looked online and seen some pens made from chicken wire and pvc pipe. Do you think this could work?

I would say that anything you make or buy is predator proof. That has to be paramount in my book.

Chicken wire is not in any way predator proof. The best thing you can use for your duck is 1/2" hardware cloth - that is securely fastened to a sturdy frame. I don't think PVC would work out with the hardware cloth. Zip ties wouldn't be secure enough. You also need protection from diggers and a cover to keep climbers and raptors OUT.
