Interesting. I like mangoes, but I despise avocadoes. Texture alone can sure turn you off something, can't it? (though I also don't like the taste of avocadoes).
LOL....I love avocado, texture and taste!!
In guac or with a spoon right out of the skin.

Everyone's palate is different.

If you tried guacamole chip dip you might change your mind! it's so addicting! I'm not a fan of avocados either, but guacamole...........yummmmm.
Nope, I loathe guac, too. My DH won't touch it, asks for them to leave it off his plate at Mexican restaurants. We call it "green goo".

You haven't tried the home made kind though...........

. Restaurant guacamole is disgusting, home made guacamole tastes totally different and nothing like avocados--so yummy! And if you make it your self, you can add a little of this, some more of that, and you can make the avocado chunks smaller. A few days ago I got a fortune cookie that said, "Eat something you never tried before." Home made guacamole...........................................

Sorry, honey, that ship has sailed. I have no desire to buy an avocado. They seem slimy and oily to me, just never will get over the first one I tried years ago and I've never seen guac that looked appealing enough to eat. I have so few calories I can eat anyway, probably won't be forcing myself to give it another try.

The lights I purchased are not adequate for the job, unfortunately. I was asked by Amazon for my review and did so, the bad and the good, and today, the seller PM'd me. I like a conscientious seller, don't you? I did say I was going to keep them, did not ask for anything from the seller, but they are offering anyway. If they stayed on for even 8 hours from dusk, that would be adequate, but they don't. I was very happy after the first night when the first one we put up did stay on almost all night but the second one didn't do that and neither has stayed on more than five hours from dusk since even with a full charge, not nearly enough for a security light. So, that means that even better solar ones may not be good enough either. Bummer. I didn't want to have to wire one, though we could, bringing it in from behind the current old ladies' coop nearby to the oak tree.

What good old girls! None of my older (3-and-up) girls are laying right now, but I get a half dozen eggs each day from my 12 youngsters, pretty pullet eggs. The light brown one is from one of my 2 Delawares - they are really nice girls from Bargain. One is the bossiest hen I haveever seen, she growls at me whenever I upset her Queenliness

700

I didn't know chickens growled!!! :lau
