Sorry, too much on my plate right now. DH is ill and we have so much to do, plus helping my sister with my father's estate, too much stress. I've barely even seen that flock other than to let them out and lock them in again at night. Not sure when it will die down enough.

Next chapter: wall insulation! We got a good start on the western wall today. Will need a few more rolls of the reflective stuff, but I got a pack of the thin foamboard, accordian-like insulation from my late father's basement which will supplement this in places. They say this is an R-6 placed directly on the walls this way. Going on with heavy duty construction adhesive and being taped with the metal tape for ductwork. Will do spray foam everywhere this doesn't go. I personally feel that we will be adding up-high vents at some point by summer, but I dread telling DH that. He tends to not feel as much ventilation is necessary as I do in winter (he closes them too far, I open them back up, sigh), but maybe he'll relent with this being a metal building, albeit well-insulated with fans to move air.

Wow, my shed has zero insulation except for the hay storage, and our ventilation is to open the large doors, looking good.

A fan, yes, but not sure exactly which one other than one designed for a barn with a sealed motor.
