Looks like you have some experience swinging a hammer and are doing a good job of putting this thing together. Impressive. Also looks like you bedded the sills on concrete to level the base and keep the diggers out.
Having said that, when you say south Texas and weather is not an issue, that is not entirely true. Weather, or perhaps we should say "climate" is always an issue. Is the enclosed coop portion done or do you plan to install openings for ventilation? I've never been south of San Antonio, but we have friends who live in Houston and from what I gather, it can get awfully hot and humid in south Texas. Like those 90+ F and 90% humidity days. At those levels, you are dangerously close to having a bunch birds die on you. They can handle brutal cold easier than they can hot oppressive heat.
Without ventilation, it is entirely likely that the heat and humidity will render the coop portion unusable. So maybe taking out the top 1/3rd of the side walls and replacing it with heavy welded wire? Then there is the issue of the open topped run to let the sun and rain in. My guess is that within 2 weeks of populating this thing with birds, you are going to notice a whole lot of odors and flies. It is just the nature of the beast.
Actually, for your climate, if it had a pitched roof to shed rain, the entire thing would be better off for your birds if it resembled the adjacent aviary. Even as is, if you were to offer the birds an outdoor roost, most would likely use that vs. being "cooped" up inside a sweat box. Didn't they use those to torture prisoners?
