building paradise for the birds

Pics
Love the pictures!

Do you think you'd ever cross a pheasant and a chicken?

How long have you had a flock? I'm lucky to only have a dozen eggs :p.

who knows....lol...maybe one day when im caught up just to see what happens....y you looking for some now...lol....I know guinea and peafowl have mixed as well so keep them separate....

I LOVE all the pics! Your birds are absolutely beautiful. I have a question about a pic from this page though. It appears you put your eggs in the freezer....? Is the frig not turned on, or what is your program for that? What do you do with excess eggs? We have 40 laying hens & I donate any unsold eggs to a local food pantry. They are very much appreciative.

that fridge is just for storage until gail comes and picks them up...I just wormed my birds so all the eggs get donated to art....and that is the only place I have for that many eggs....If your donating eggs she goes thru a lot of them....

With that many eggs you have enough to give away plus boil some for your birds. They love boiled eggs.Shell and all,but you need to crush them up good so they can't identify the shell. They may start eating the eggs before you get them if they see the shell and think it is ok to eat.
