So here is a summary. Worked with game chickens and clean out the 2x2s. Hatched another round of fibro chickens. And game chickens. Went into the ditch got pulled out. Not sure if people are aware of the debate with fibromelenistic n black dots in egg shells or not if anyone is interested I will post more

So I figured I would share with the new law taken into effect. I'm sure many of u know I don't play and I'm very blunt. Blunt enough to get me in trouble on byc. But that is neither here nor there. So I call the department of agriculture 5172845769. For all the people that think I'm playing. They tell me they don't no **** so they give me Megan at 5172845661. And doctor Nancy p at 5172845669. And they tell me the same thing. Nothing. So as I'm on the phone for ov t two hours and nobody can tell me nothing. The department of agriculture tells me Ellsworth or reed city. U guys all know me. I would love to hear the talk n they couldn't say anything on how the government is involved. I'm so mad right now I have to pay 150 just for this b to show up. So next week she is gunna show up. I'm done I have nothing to say I'm so mad bc of this. I want u I o understand that Michigan don't give a **** about nobody or their birds it's about who pays who. I'm so disgusted with Michigan.

What new law?
I hope you were more clear and polite on the phone.... if not, that may be part of the problem...just sayin.

I thought that I had kept up on this thread, What new law? The last time I called the dept of ag, they transfered me to the state police mid sentence.

I was very clear with my conversation with them and all the people I spoke to. From what I found out is the ag sent out emails and 52 vets said they would do avian testing and such for the whole state of Michigan. It took me several hours to find out just some numbers and those numbers then led me to other people that couldn't help me out n just sent me to someone else. I know I can come across as rude to people but someone needs to be that person. To give them a sense of what is really going to happen in their state. Also I type on my phone n don't look back n fix all the auto correct stuff. So some things might sound weird. I'm blunt and to the point and I don't sensor anything. All I was saying to the ag department is that I was on the phone with several people and several hours. And that I needed an answer now that antibodies are off the shelf. Several vets said that the new law has made it extremely difficult to do things but was more geared to the slaughtering of animals and them have antibiotics still in their system that are then consumed by the consumer. Was also stating that in my thoughts that hardly anyone is going to pay 200-500$ a visit to save a chicken. And some people might then take that bird and make it dissapear like to someone else or even to another state. I do agree with what they did however they should atleast be able to provide u with something reasonable n close. And 150$ to just show up and 2.50$ a mile when they are two hours away n then other fees are not close to reasonable when I could just a couple of days ago go and spend less then ten bucks for the same outcome.

Birds are growing well we put about 20 chickens into freezer camp. Been super great sub zero temps with lots of snow we are so lucky: the black svart hona rooster that was molting died. He froze to death with no feathers. Bummer but got plenty more. No more hatching either. Have a great day. I did find a semi close vet as well. But still way overpriced.
