building paradise for the birds

Birdman's Mom is totally exhausted. These are truly very beautiful birds. It is so worth that long 8 hour drive. I enjoy my working vacations when I come up there. Alot of time consuming work but so enjoyable and worth it! Plus I got to see my little grandbaby. Stay positive and keep on farming. Love you all.

The pheasants and basically all birds love to dig. As this is their natural way of getting rid of the bad stuff however my building at the bottom all have some sort of wire so even if predators try to dig, they give up after a while as for the watering setup. In winter it’s mostly heated dog bowls and gallon jugs. Bout an hour a day to feed n water everyone., that’s when I wanna be efficient. I like the drums because u can really clean them compared to wood were things like to soak in and such. So I guess I learned that u must put down a lot of straw for it to be effective in a thermal aspect. I put sand down and then straw and it’s working out great the winterized pens are doing great as well. See yah on the flip side....where o where is thy Attimus???????
