To keep my pheasants out of the direct sunlight as it can dull the color of the pheasants.

Got the barrels cleaned out and I tried to introduce some new birds in with the single birds and yeah that didn’t happen

So yeah I need not explain but here’s the story. Picked up 19 full sized chickens that is of billy ruble hatch Gamefowl out of direct from mr ruble in the 80s. The guy I bought these birds from acquired these birds direct n got three trios. In the 80s and kept them since and now I shall post some pics for u tomorrow

So got all the chickens settled a bit did some work on the big coop so picks tomorrow of the finished big coop. Also seen some cool fight with the Red goldens very interesting to watch them size each other up and show off to each other. Still gotta work so see yah later.

I also made the decision to switch my feed to a custom Feed that I design. A good breeder friend gave me this Feed schedule so I am going to follow it and this would be for winter. As for summer minus the whole corn. I will be adding to the
5 parts layer pellet
5 parts layer
3 parts black sunflower seeds
5 parts whole corn
10 parts scratch
This is for the Gamefowl I will be adding more proteins for the pheasants just haven’t figured out yet what I wanna use.
So got all the birds settled a little better and the Feed and waterers secured. Will get pics of the progress soon with the new birds. Also got fresh straw down.
