Pen 7 rooster lacy, hen miner blue. These two have quite the story.

Pen 8 rooster miner blue, hens miner blues

Pen 9 rooster redquill, hen redquill and unknown from Alabama (pink leg band)

Insulating only three sides. Works out great.

Next project is something cheaper n bigger. It’s on top and it’s 4x4’ compared to the 3x3’s below.

So I ran out of staples or I would have finished them all. Didn’t get all that I wanted done but got pretty far. See u soon for the baby chick pics.

Another 4x4 done I will be changing a couple of small things on this design. First I will add a door to the front, secondly will add nesting box. And maybe 1/2x1/2” hardware cloth to the last 6” in the front and back. Well see about that one tho. Will post details later of the smaller unit and larger one

Went to the corner coop and boom and ball of feathers something killed all the pheasants no survivors. Bummer.

Mommas getting all worked up. I should have known that one day something was gunna get into their. Glad I removed half the pen before this so it’s not so bad it was 4 birds. One which I was gunna use for a breeder but found out Mom has two extras so I’m safe. Got rid of close to 50-60 birds today. Getting down there in numbers n this weekend getting rid of more
