Well overall that is a bad design, I'd move the nest box to the run which in fact that is what I had to do as I copied the same bad design.

I would also remove the siding from under the upper roof and replace that with hardware cloth for better draft free ventilation.

Hoping I am able to trim mine out nicely too. this weekend I should have no issue finishing the frame work for the full run/coop/hen house. At that point I'll need to do siding, doors, poop drawer, and trim work... it's either going to make my project look nicer or worse lol

Coop is done and up in its spot!!! Now to build run and move the babies in!
