building the new BREEDER HOUSE follow my progress with updated pics

What you are doing is GREAT! Everyone on a budget needs to follow this thread. Can I ask how much you have spent so far? Not trying to be nosey,Just think its important to let everyone know. That is a real nice job & I will check back. Good for "pros" & amatures alike.

I personally like the fact that its free standing. Even though I live in a very windy climate Digging a hole here is a two man job with a power auger. But you can pound in a Tpost and anchor with that. My own breeder house is set up to be 24 x 24 out of Dog kennel panels. Therefore I am looking at the low pitched versions of this construction. Something to reflect heat and shed the small amount of water we get per year...... I cant afford Clearspan so i am looking at buying the connectors then over a period of time buying the pipe locally.

i had another productive day working on the breeder house today

first i finished stereching the wire for the last three pens that i did not get doun last week end

secound i stereched the outside wire for all 6 of the pins on the east

then i painted all the wood on the east and filled the inside on the house and scatch yards with wood chips

then i put the inside top deviders up on 3 pens

here are some updated pics

This is looking very very nice.... I love blue too.... LOL. Not that the color changes the effectiveness but heck you got to like where you spend time every day.

How have you anchored the structure.... just curious but even a low wind area is going to have a few windy days.

and here is the mister hoses hung to help keep them cool

Wow this is fabulous. This is something I could use in my little patch of desert.... with only a few tweaks. The doors on your pens are they just wire with no frame? Love it.
