Built in Feeders

    I am designing our new coop and in the past viewed on here someone who had built a feeder into the interior wall of the coop which was fillable from the outside.
    If anyone has any input to this or similar designs please share them.

    Here's mine, built from scrap lumber I had lying around the garage. It holds about 65# of pellets with zero waste. I have since, painted it and modified the mounting system (no gap between the coop and hopper).

    KDK1 thats cool I wonder if there was any problems with your hand made feeder?

    Quote:None so far... It's all caulked on the inside and the only problem I could see is if you didn't use a Quality weather stripping on the lid.
