Bully chicken- seriously evil

Well, I let her out today and all is well, I think being unable to get near the flock and sleeping in a separate spot from the others kind of brought her up to speed. Thanks for the help guys:)
I don't know where you are in Oregon but if you are still having problems and you are anyware near me. I have a small chicken run you could borrow or you could bring her to my place and I could keep her in it for a week or two for you.

I have good luck with doing to a mean hen what the rooster does. Grab her by the comb and pinch and hold on for a bit, in front of the other chickens. She needs to either be rehomed or to find the bottom of the pecking order. If you are the top chicken and you pick on her and humiliate her in front of the others, the behaviour can be corrected, at least it has for me.

For those who said to eat her- I love this chicken, I'm not going to eat her even if we have to kill her. @Chickat, she used her feet and her beak to attack. Thankfully I have a small run I put her in to keep my other babies safe.

I would seperate her for a while maybe up to a week, and by seperate I mean like keep her is a dog crate in a garage, barn or basment. Just don't forget about her lol... keep her completely out of sight of the others, and then when she goes back in , In theory she should be a the bottom of the pecking order.... if that doesnt work I would re home or cull.

I have a beast of a Japanese Bantam, she literally is the size of a Robin, and she attack's the full size hens all the time. I actually was putting her in time out everyday for a week. She went to bed with everyone since that wasn't the problem, and in the morning, she was stuck in the grow out baby run all by herself. I did this for a whole week. Little stinker would still try to get them through the wire, but after about 5 days, she actually looked sad to be in there all by herself all day long. Now she is fine, every once in a while she is a beast, and I throw her in time out. Usually fixes her right up. Good luck.

When I have broody hens, I put them in wire cages that hang on the wall (they were original rabbit cages). They are in full site and completely wire so the other hens can see them. However, after a good week in there and they are at the bottem of the pecking order.

I feel for you. I have a gold laced Wyandotte that is just horrible. I was reaching doen to pick another hen up and why I was trying to get a good grip, the Wyandotte ran other to peck her relentlessly. Shes evil. She just a year old but shell be for sale soon. I don't want 20 miserable hens because of her.

I agree. Seperate her completely and try the reintroduction. I have also tried squirting them with a water bottle to discourage aggresvie behavior.
