Hi hows it going i have a big white female duck that has bumble foot on both feet about the size of a penny or nickle. I have tried to carefully slice open to get puss out and that didnt work. Then i asked my friends sister she is a vet and she said to not cut it open anymore and to soak it with epsolm salt, wipe it with disinfectant wipes which she gave me, and put udder balm on it. It seems like since ive been doing that once a day for about 4 weeks or so (some days didnt get a chance to) but the bumble foot seems like it has gone down a little on both feet but the duck can barely stand and walk because its 11lbs. On one foot it has a brown calais over it and on the other foot it used to but it went away. I thought the soaking was working until the duck started to limp and just sit around everywhere. Wondering if there is anything else i can do. Thanks i will also but a picture of what it looks like on both feet below. Oh and btw there looks to be a small amout of bumble foot on the right toe nail and it kind of forms around the nail but this one is really small compared to the other two.

Ill try it out thanks. So that is a bag of stuff that you put in the water right?
Yes, the Tricide Neo comes in a powder that you mix according to the package instructions with distilled water. I mixed about 22 grams per 1 gallon of distilled water. The solution is good for 5 days. I then soak my hens' feet two times per day for 10-12 minutes each time (I put a bit of solution in a 5 gallon bucket [you only need a little solution so that the bottom of their foot is fully submerged] and put a milk crate on top to keep them from flying out).

Ok so you use the same mixture that you put in the bucket for 5 days? Because when i put my duck in any water within minutes he takes a big ole dump in it.

Yes, I pour a little bit from the gallon jug into the bucket and soak their feet. The mixed solution in the gallon jug is good for 5 days, after that it becomes inactive.

My hens usually poop in the solution too. If you know that's going to be a problem your duck, you can do a warm epsom salt soak beforehand (for about 5 minutes), let him poop in the epsom salt water, then do the Tricide Neo soak.
