Bumble foot soak

Is it alright to soak a bumble foot with an open post-surgery wound in a Tricide-neo solution?
Im going to watch this thread. I’m about to purchase some. I have two Welsummers that just struggle all the time with bumblefoot despite everything I’ve done. (No one else in the flock ever gets it)
I can’t think of any reason why you shouldn’t and in fact think you’ll have optimal results this way.

*Remember to only mix it with distilled water and divide your package so you can mix 1 qt (or less at a time) since it’s only good for 1 week once mixed. 1 gram makes 1 gallon.
Can I ask where you ordered your from?

We ordered it from ebay. KOI ACRES phone number is 1-855-564-7467. The proper amount for mixing is on the package. Our sweet RIR Penny, has a really swollen foot and we're very concerned...

I buy mine from the same place. :)
Everything I've ever read says not to use it for soaking open or deep wounds.......however I have done so on quite a few occasions and have seen no bad effects from it. I've had a couple of bumble foot cases where the infection was ribbony or stringy through the foot rather than a solid core, and really hard or impossible to get cleaned out completely. I used the tricide between manual cleanings on some pretty deep sores.
I've also, on occasion mixed it a bit stronger than recommended, likewise no bad effects that I'm aware of. When the alternative is culling the bird, I will bend the 'rules' to try sometimes.
