Thank youHiya, Kim, and welcome to BYC!
I see you're hatching Silkie eggs! That's all I do here is Silkies, and lots of them. Do you know what colors yours should be?
We're glad you're here!
Yes she is gorgeous girl, they both are very friendly. The only issue I have with them is they won't eat greens, of anything. They like a bran mash, their scratch mix but mostly layer pellets. She's beautiful! I haven't hatched eggs yet, as I'm still pretty new to chickens. But I do have 4 d'Uccles. They're awesome little birds! I also have 1 silkie and he or she is pretty cool too. Welcome, and good luck with your hatch!
At least they'll eat their complete feed. I give my flock greens once per week. Kale, usually. Most of them love it, but some are not as interested.Yes she is gorgeous girl, they both are very friendly. The only issue I have with them is they won't eat greens, of anything. White silkies with black faces could either be paints or mottled, but then they'd have black elsewhere. If the gray frizzle with black head is a silkie, those are called moorheads and most likely is a partridge.Thank youYes I am, they are super cute. The silkies are white with black face, I don't think they are the ones with the pom pom head bonnet (not sure what they call it). belgian d’Uccle, mille fleur, the frizzle pictures look like they are a grey with the dark head and neck, if that makes sense. Pretty sure the little white ones are the silkies, the others are a strange grey/brown colour. If you knwo please let me know.
