Bumble foot. :(

Unfortunately, ours seems pretty advanced already, which is weird because we spend a fair bit of time with our ducks daily, and neither of us have noticed anything. She is also not limping or showing any signs of discomfort or abnormal behavior, but I noticed it when I was taking a picture of her this morning.

Dang it! Yeah it’s hard when they don’t show signs. My lucky girl doesn’t seem bothered by much. I just happened to be watching her one day and picked up her foot just right to wear I saw it didn’t look normal. Hopefully she gets feeling better soon. What kind of duck is she?

Yep that needs to be dealt with. I still think soaking until you can pull the scab off easily is the best way to deal with it. My only duck bumble never had a scab so I had to use a scalpel to get it out.
@Miss Lydia do you keeping soaking in one session until you can pull it off? Of multiple sessions?

Thank you! Goose is a silver Appleyard. She is our biggest girl, and she's a love. Her real name is Lucy (she had a very red face when she was young), but she is VERY vocal, so Lucy merged into Lucy-Goosie, and now we pretty much just call her The Goose. :)

I don’t see how it could hurt soak in ES then dip into ACV let dry then on the the other. I use a gal bucket and stick both legs in it’s easier to hold them still with both legs inside.
Okay sweet. I do both feet always.

We were not able to get into the vet yesterday. The soaks are going well. Today we're going to work on removing more of the scab after her morning soak and then bandaging it.

How about you?
