Bumble foot

Is this bumble foot? It is bigger now.

Bumblefoot is an infected sore. I see a white spot. Bumblefoot is usually black scabbed. I think I see a swollen joint on the toe in the foreground. Is that what concerns you?

What does the bottom of that toe look like? Picture?

From that angle underneath, that looks like the first digit of the toe is dying, but the nail isn't black... Could there be a string or something similar wrapped around the toe, cutting off circulation? But then I see that spot that's sort of a blister and swelling - could be frostbite.

@kerbotx I see that, too. The toe seems to have been constricted by a hair or a string. Or an injury to the toe resulted in the toe dying. The swelling behind it is the stage that precedes the blackened toe falling off.

Nothing to be done for it now. The toe tip is dead.

What should i do to prevent it from getting infected?

Nothing. It's beyond being susceptible to infection. Just as a dead human can't catch a cold.
