Yesterday out of no where while chickens were running around, my gold Wyandotte started limping. Sure enough I look under her foot and thereās the a small black spot. Here we go again!
this particular chicken does not like being held, wrapped up, cover her head, nothing works. She goes ape s***. Kicking and losing it.
Have no idea how Iām going to soak her foot for 20+ minutes, peel this scab off, pull the nasty ācornā looking thing out, clean it out and bandage her up. Thereās nothing Hard in there tho when I press on the pad of the foot. So I donāt know what Iām in for here.
if anyone has tips on how to calm her down for this please let me know.
p/s my last post for āBumblefootā or a cut, whatever it was, she healed fine and is doing great again.
