Long story short, one of my girls (1YO Black Swede, 6lbs) was on the tail end of dealing with a case of bumblefoot--this morning she was fine, and about an hour ago I found her limping and her right leg is extremely swollen and hot. She's currently soaking in an epsom salt bath and I've ordered fish-mox but it won't get here until later in the week. My vet account was just drained doing yearly checkups for my dogs, so is there anything else I can do for her before then?

I've been reading about Duramycin, any thoughts? Or try some holistic things until the fish-mox arrives? Thanks in advance!

Do you have baytril? I would recommend baytril over amoxicillin. Amoxicillin didnt really work when I used it. You can put Neosporin with out pain relief on it. Usually you take a cotton ball with Neosporin and place it on the effected are and wrap it to the foot.

This is the generic form of baytril if you decide to get it instead.

Thank you that! Will get that ordered, hopefully it'll ship quickly.

Morning update -- after doing a long epsom salt bath last night, I picked off the little scabs that were left, covered them with silver sulfadiazine and then rubbed her leg down with comfrey salve. She spent the night inside to limit movement and got some nutridrench and ACV in her water. While her leg and joint are still swollen, it did go down and is nowhere near as hot.

I did another epsom salt bath this morning and comfrey salve on the leg. She's currently outside in the coop hanging with her girlfriend. Appetite and energy levels are still good, but ooh boy is she sick of all this treatment.
