Hi Everyone
I'm new to the BYC forum, and not a little desperate. Our lovely cochin cockerel appears to have bumblefoot. We've taken him to the vet once already and he's been on antibiotics for the last couple of weeks, can't remember offhand what the two different antibiotics tried are called, but neither has worked. The first lot of antibiotics did reasonably well but the vet recommended a different one to 'see off' the bumblefoot, but his limp is getting worse again. We called in at the vets today while we were in town shopping and she's suggested we bring him in to see her again on Thursday which we will. But does anyone have any suggestions we can try in the meantime.
