Helpful article if you haven't seen it already.
You said that it was getting better and then got worse; trying to keep track of everything in multiple threads is a little confusing for me - how have you been treating?
Have you been keeping the coop clean? Are your roosting bars wide enough for them to grip comfortably with the foot more flattened? Is this a reoccurring issue?
In some cases, small pockets of infection go higher up into the foot and it's very difficult to remove the strings of pus. Some folks resort to antibiotics in those cases.
Neosporin ointment is also an option.
Bumblefoot can take 3+ months to heal and requires patience and diligence.
