I've read through some threads on bumblefoot and I see some experts on here so I need some advice on bumblefoot.
I discovered on one of my hens swelling between the toes so I soaked her feet and found the black scab on her pad. It wasn't very big so I did another soak and peeled off the scab and a little chunk was attached so I thought I did good from what I read about this kernel coming off with the scab so I cleaned the hole with peroxide and put polysporin on it and wrapped it with gauze and taped it up. I checked it the next day and the swelling seemed to go down. For several more days I kept changing the gauze and cleaned it daily then noticed swelling just between one toe. Not much heat on the leg and checked on the pad. There was a scab but not black. I peeled it off after a foot soak and some fluid came put. I squeezed on it for a bit and nothing else really came out as far as lumpy stuff. I put more polysporin on it and gauze.
I feel like the infection isn't out completely...what should I do next? Keep squeezing at? Let a new scab form?
Any tips and advice is appreciated!
Next time I get the gauze off I'll try to remember to take pictures

Thanks!
