Good job on getting the core out!, is there any viable tissue left that might heal together? Or is she left with a hole in her foot? It might shrink without that debris in there and remain a small hole, you'l have to monitor her. Poor chicken. Lice are easy to get rid of, she probably didn't have a place to dust bathe. I had them this spring because it was impossible for my girls to dust bathe with the ARCTIC winter we just had. I sprayed with Permethrin then 1 week later I dusted them with garden/ poultry dust. I looked at them another week later and no lice.
