Bumblefoot treatment

Type in bumblefoot plug on google and hit images.....
Well, I actually already tried that along with reading numerous articles, but I'm still confused.. Which I why I came here to seek help from those who have been in the same situation as me, and can explain a bit more thoroughly. Since that is what this site is for. :)

LOL, yeppers I knew that was what you were doing but thought you could go look whilst waiting on someone to answer. I've never dealt with bumblefoot but thought once one of mine had it and did a ton of research and there were many articles that the plug comes out like a "corn", hard or soft but all together. So I was hoping you'd find those articles. I'm not sure what the rules are on listing other items so I haven't done anything but refer to a YouTube. I'm sure someone will help. Did you try typing in "bumblefoot" under search? I'm going to keep following this post as I always love to learn....sorry it has to be on your baby though..:hugs

You'll know when the infection is over when it heals and no more swelling or redness.

Sometimes the plug is hard cheesy like and can be picked out with sterile tweezers. It may take a few attempts to get it all. I wrap my birds in a towel to keep them from squirming so much, Having someone hold when wrapped sure helps too. Although I have done it on my own by wrapping then turning the birds on their backs with feet towards me. Just be sure to cover vent or you may be wearing poop.
