Thanks for the advice! There is, actually, a vet in my area so I will see if I can take her there. At first I wanted to try just the home remedies to see if I could get it out on my own.

Thanks for the advice! There is, actually, a vet in my area so I will see if I can take her there. At first I wanted to try just the home remedies to see if I could get it out on my own.

My local avian vet said surgery can sometimes make it worse. I have had another vet surgically remove it but it came back instantly. So I went back to the avian vet, I now have three birds on antibiotics. One bird I got the bumble to disappear for a few weeks using antibiotics and then it came back. Now three have bumble and so far with antibiotics there has been no change. It is endlessly frustrating. All three are heavy breeds.
