Hi y'all,
I just got home and let out my hens for the day when I noticed one has some small white bumps on her foot (just her right). I took a closer look and realized the two bumps had replaced her toes. I don't see anything else wrong with the foot and the other hens don't have the same symptoms. She is walking and running on it fine and has an appetite.
I hope the video works. I tried to get close enough but she was moving a lot. You can see the two bumps clearly after she turns to walk the other way.
The three small 5 month old ones are fairly new and we just added them to our existing coop with Agnes the Red Star. I haven't noticed any aggression among anyone (they have been sleeping together for about two weeks now; they were kept separate for five when we first bought them) and I think the pecking order has been established already. I came across "bumblefoot" while researching, but I'm unsure if that is it because I don't see anything on her pad.
Does this warrant a vet visit? Is it contagious?
Any advice isn appreciated!!
Edit: we were told she was a Shumen, but I don't know why the lady would sell us a "rare" breed for the same price as the others, including the other black hen, our Buff Orpington. I noticed she is growing feathers on her legs... What breeds do this?

There are black orpingtons, if that is what you meant, but none of your black chicks are buff orpingtons (your black chickens legs are darkly colored. Buff Orpingtons have yellow/white legs).
I should have caught that "buff' always brought up the light colors! But the lady claimed the small black was a Shumen, the large black an Orpington (I never questioned just because of her size), and the red one a Penedesenca. I wonder what my 'Orpington' really is...
