Hi everyone
I noticed today my duck has this weird, rough, scab on the bottom of his foot and on one of his toes. Is its bumble foot and if so how can I treat it? I also noticed a few other things about him today that are a bit strange. His beak is peeling A LOT and his feathers feel very rough. Almost like he has some sticky juice spilt on him and it dried up. I brought him into my house so I could get a closer look at him and he started sneezing a bunch and his nose started running a little. Is he sick and what can I do? Thank you all!

Peeling bill is normal so I have heard.
Could just be over grown scales on his feet. Do some Epsom salt soaks I use a small bucket and put about half cup of ES to 1 gal of warm water mix well then set the duck down into it feet first hold onto him so he doesn't jump and run If your seeing a scab too then it could be bumble then you'll want to soak in the ES and after dry and put clear iodine on the scabs. Keep up with this treatment until you can easily pull the scab off with your finger nail. If it won't come easy then keep soaking and applying the colorless iodine until it does. After the scab is removed you should be able to pick the bumble [core out] with sterile tweezers then pack with antibiotic ointment and keep him on clean bedding
until hole heals up.

Can I use iodine with color and can I put him in the bathtub with epsom salt? Will he get sick if he drinks the water? And if it's not bumble foot will the iodine hurt him at all? Sorry if those are silly questions, I'm new to ducks! Thank you

Don't let him drink the water it is also a laxative. I would use a bucket. and the reg iodine doesn't work as well it's the ammonia in the clear that bring any infection to the surface and make it easier to get the bumble out.

Not silly questions at all.
