After cutting out bumblefoot, cleaning it up and dressing it, how often do you change the dressings? How long before they can be off completely? This hen had 1 on each foot

I usually change daily until it's healing up well, you need to monitor to make sure you got it all and it is healing, then go to every other or 3rd day as necessary to protect it while it heals. Depends somewhat on the environment, wet/damp/dirty conditions would need more often changes. I wrap them usually until it has healed enough to not be damaged by normal chicken activities, so pretty much all healed up, so that scratching and jumping doesn't start it all over again before it has a chance to heal.
