Hi all!
I am very new to chicken keeping so need some help from chicken experts. This is what I need your help for. I have only ever had 4 chickens before so I have never had to deal with bumblefoot. Therefore I am not sure what it looks like or how to deal with it. Using the information online I think that one of my chickens may have bumblefoot but I am not sure. I will get pics in the morning but it is dark right now so I can’t. To describe it it is basically a brown bruise on the tips of her toes. It is not on all of them but the majority. I think I also saw one in the middle of her foot. It kind of looks like this photo below but it has no bump around it.

Please help as soon as possible to help me figure out what this is.
Thanks!

That photo is bumblefoot so I'd say your bird has it, but need photos of your birds feet.

I dont see any bumblefoot. The brown bruises on the toes could possibly be caused by ammonia in soiled bedding. It can become serious if bedding isnt changed on a regular basis.
Serious cases are called Footpad Dermatitis (FPD.) There are other factors that may cause it as well, here's a link:

I wouldnt worry too much about it, it's not a serious case of FPD. I'd just keep an eye on her feet every now and then.
