Bumblefoot??

We think is chicken has bumblefoot, but it is not only her foot that is swelling her leg is swelling to. We did not notice it was bumble until we finally saw a piece of bumble come out. Can it spread to the legs if left untouched for some time or is it not bumble?

Once the staph infection reaches the leg bone, it quickly spreads throughout the body with eventual death. Antibiotics are of no use.
If you did bumblefoot surgery and removed the infection, by the fifth day the foot shouldve healed by then. Perhaps you didnt completely remove the infection.
Photos of the footpad and her leg would help us determine what's going on. Thanks.
