Thanks! I was stressing for a second. How many chickens do you have? I only have 7 and I lose my marbles when something happens! I got her chicken shoes, and she was tap dancing with them on, she hated every second. Should I slowly introduce her? I just want to put it on in the mornings - and at night, when its wet or she roosts. If just one then I would say no.

I have never used shoes. I use vet wrap bandages and corn cushions for bumble foot.
What's the difference between a pressure bumble and regular bumble foot? Does it require a different treatment? I hope your hen gets better. I just tuned into this thread and didn't realize how long it was. Best wishesI have been treating it for 2 months now i think. Thank you... A pressure bumble is caused by roosting on too hard roosts. Not a thorn or scab. Although prid does work, it does not make it easy for you to peal it off. There wont be as much puss, but lots of swelling. You need antibiotics and to take off as much pressure from the feet from my understanding. What's the difference between a pressure bumble and regular bumble foot?
