Bumblefoot?

So adorable! Do I have to take care of the other foot now? Or wait for it to peal off like this one did?

I wouldn't wait. I'd treat them all now. The longer you leave bumblefoot the longer it takes to get better.
That chicken didn't have a name prior to her unfortunate interaction with the locust tree branch, now she's named Boots because of the vet wrap boots she wore while healing. LOL.

I am hating the disease part of owning chickens!

That part can be tough. I check my chickens feet and give them all a good general looking over almost every day. If you can catch a foot injury (or any other problems) early before the infection really sets in it's way easier to cure.

Okay! One of my hens had little blisters, the skin pealed off and now theres baby skin its so cute! Glad I did not have to do her! She paddles when ever you pick her up!

Nope vets all cant bec of avian flu. No neighbors own chickens near me. Sadly.

You may want to look up some bumblefoot videos and watch them.

The pus/kernel has to be pushed, plucked or pulled out. I understand that you don't want to hurt her and it's something new to learn, we all have to learn these things.

After soaking the foot, wrap her up in a towel to capture her wings so you can work on the foot. Start working the plug/pus out of the foot. Pack the hole with triple antibiotic ointment. Wrap her foot up and let her go.

Yes I do have to get use to it. I have someone to hold her, but is "Duoderm hydroactive gel" good as triple antibotic? Or no?

Help please!!

I just cut the skin off, and there was a lot of blood and no puss. Is that normal? She also seems very scared kinda but walks normally. Please help!! Im worried for my baby!! She also keeps looking at her foot. Help help please!

Thought I would add I did not use prid drawing salve, is that okay? Did I hurt her for no reason? Also there was no hole.
