Okay, so I am freaking out again... She needs a antibiotic in her foot right? Especially now that I cut the skin. So, Duoderm hydroactive Gel is a antibotic for chickens right?

Yes, I have been using Dueroderm gel, but is that good enough? Since I did not get puss, does that mean the infection is higher up? Closer to her bones perhaps?I usually apply the nesoporin after cleaning with chlorhexidene or Betadine disinfectant. Apply a dressing and check it in 24 hours. Bumble foot can be treated in a variety of ways.
Oh so that does not mean anything? You may not always find pus or a plug.
Im trying lol, my first bumblefoot and its hard. We soaked her foot/feet the skin got lose and came off, however the picture below shows what was healed or scabed over after wich confused me.Just relax a bit. Sometimes you will get a pus plug with the surgery, sometimes not. Nowadays, most people soak in warm Epsom salts initially, and try to remove he scabs of bumble foot instead of cutting into the bumble. I used to do the surgery, but now I believe soaking and removing the scab with squeezing is a better approach. Just make sure your dressing is not applied too tight. Dressings with vet wrap can sometimes move and cut off circulation.
