shore, you can clean it out real good. and iodine or anything of the sort wont hurt. prob. help. then bandage it to where it wont come off, but not to tight to cut off circulation, or cripple them. just experiment.

PDB-- Do a quick search on BYC for Neosporin with pain relief before putting it on it's foot. I seem to recall folks saying it wasn't good for chickens (toxic). I don't know for sure, but check just in case. If anyone else knows about this, please chime in.

Oops, thanks for that catch. It was a typo and I meant NON pain relief probably.
