Bump by hens eye - what is it?

Hi all. Would really appreciate opinions on what this small white bump is. Want to treat it form the start before it becomes a huge issue if it’s the beginning of an infection. She’s acting fine, no discharge from eyes, nose or mouth. No sneezing or coughing. Everyone else is fine. Eating fine, drinking fine, free ranging even at the moment, annoyed I wanted to get pics of her. Layed an egg today. I didn’t notice it this morning. Is it possibly a peck injury? Added a pic of the other eyeball for reference.

It doesn’t look serious. Might be a peck wound. If it grows, look for any pus inside.

Thanks for giving her a once over I am definitely a new chicken mom who worries about everything! I will take a close look at it tomorrow for changes.

Am I not patient enough to see any changes? Doesn’t look bigger, but not smaller either. I just don’t want this to be an ear infection or something that I miss and it causes her pain. Anyone see something I’m missing? These pics are from today, about 5 days later. I’m sure I’m over reacting

Hi again. Any help would be greatly appreciated…I thought this bump near my Pepper’s eye was getting smaller…but today I think it’s swelling a bit more. Anyone think this could be an infection? Maybe it’s just an abscess that needs drained? Should I just watch it and let it be? She has no symptoms of a respiratory infection, no discharge by eyes, nose, etc. Her poop is good.

It is starting to look more like a growth or tumor. Some viruses, such as Mareks or Lymphoid Leukosis can cause tumors, but cysts can also occur without those viruses. Hoepfully, it is nothing serious.

Thanks, I hope it’s not. Always the favorites that seems to happen to it feels soft. I’m trying to find her ear hole to look in it and look in her beak tonight with help.
