Trying to figure out what’s on my jersey giant Fran’s ankle area. It looks like some sort of bump or nodule. Not sure if it’s bumble foot or scaly mites or something else. She’s walking fine and doesn’t seem bothered by it.

You can see that her scales in that area are raised but they lay flat on her toes and legs. My other hens legs look fine. I have an Eglu cube and I use hemp bedding but they have wood perched in the run.

Any thoughts on what it could be?

Looks like it may be a feather follicle, but hard to know.
SLM does come to mind as well. Her scales are dry and banged up (wear and tear).
I'd be inclined to work some Vaseline, Castor Oil or Nu Stock cream up and under the scales of the feet/legs a couple of times a week for several weeks to help soothe and heal them.
