Bumps around eye and on comb - what is it??

Pox are ruthless. I had a flock of eight and my rooster started with it and before we knew it they all had it. Some took it better than others. Couple weeks and it passes. I only had 1 out of the 8 that acted different when she had it. She was my smallest out the bunch. Light brown leghorn. Roxxane.

If you want to give an antibiotic, any broad spectrum type should be fine. The reason I'm giving probiotic is because antibiotics kill even the good bacteria that keep yeast levels in check. I don't want any of them coming down with thrush or vent gleet while they're trying to heal.

I used 1/2 cc of Baytril to 4 of my 12. gave for three days as soon as i noticed one in distress. Gave for 3 days

Like the taste tabs that come up if you google it?

Thank you, I'll keep that in mind. :) I might give them some plain yogurt tomorrow to try and give them a little boost.
