Treb has only chewed two wires. I've already told him numerous times that I will kill him if he chews the wall or couch or whatever.

No, they're definitely not mean. Sometimes, they might accidentally get your finger if you're giving them a treat. But the bite is never bad.

Some bunnies are too mean.

Haha!! No. I can only imagine what havoc she would wreak. She's confined to the kitchen and living room with supervision.

For me, it is a bit like having a puppy that never grows up. Both are funny, energetic, affectionate...and put absolutely everything in their mouths. It is just their way of interacting with the world. But how much they chew on things does vary between individuals. Some of us, like Isadora and I, have naughty bunnies that have caused significant damage. Others like Happy win the bunny lottery and get non-chewers. And still other bunnies are somewhere in between (going after exposed cords and such but not much else).
